Your “Hook Book” should be a small notebook you keep handy to write down title for songs, and interesting lyric phrases that come to you occasionally.  Your Hook Book should contain:

• The date of inspiration
• What inspired you, or the circumstances you were in when you were inspired
• Any references to Scriptures, sermons, or stories associated with the inspired words
• Room for comments or corrections
