THE REAL BASICS

OK, let’s start with the basics. Before you can go down any path in Christian music, you must have guidance:

1. Get your heart right with God. I John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”;

2. Search the Scriptures daily. John 5:39 “It is these that testify about Me.”

3. Go to Jesus in prayer and ask Him daily what He would have you do this day and with your life and your music. “‘I know the plans I have for you’ declares the Lord,’  ‘thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope’”.

4. Ask yourself what it is that you really want, and fix that goal in your mind.
