MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Our 2024 Christmas Playlist is coming December 15!

We would love to share your original Christmas songs with all our subscribers and friends as we celebrate this unique season of thankfulness and forgiveness in our country, and around the world.

Requirements:

• Entry must be an original Christmas song or composition (written by you). No covers.
• Entry must be about the birth of Christ or the Nativity (no jingle bells or general Christmas cheer, please).
•  Entry may be produced in any media type:  hand-held recording, mp3, video. Published songs and videos are fine. We welcome your songs in any format and style.
• Entry may be as simple or elaborate as you like. We are looking for a range of songs from scratch demo to polished professional, and anything inbetween!
• Entries do not need to be current.  Christmas music is timeless, and you may feel free to use one of your older songs or compositions.
• You may enter as many original Christmas songs as you like. Playlist will be limited to around 10-12 entries, so your 2nd and 3rd song choices will be added if space allows.
• Prizes! This year we are offering prizes for the top three entries, and a certificate goes to each songwriter for entering.
• Announcement of winners and prizes will be made on our website, and at our Christmas Zoom Party on Sunday, December 15, at 4pm Pacific Time. You do not need to attend the party to win a prize. But we hope you will be there! Families welcome! (Information on the Christmas Zoom Party will be coming up in another post soon, with the link to Zoom).
• Send your entry to us at ao@ilj.com.  If we have any trouble receiving your video or recording, we will let you know.  But we are able to process most forms of media, and have some great conversion apps.
• Deadline is Friday, December 13.
